What’s happening
The next Emerald Rush event for Donkey Kong Bananza has a date and a theme – Dig the Beat. The limited-time run is exclusive to the DK Island & Emerald Rush DLC and brings a notable rules tweak. Unlike the standard Emerald Rush, where several elements are randomized, Skills typically awarded by Banandium Gems will be predetermined, creating a fixed-loadout challenge. Players can also unlock Ninja Kong and Ghastly Kong statues by taking part during the event window.
Key changes in “Dig the Beat”
- Predetermined Skills – the Skills you’d normally roll from Banandium Gems are set in advance for this event.
- Event-exclusive rewards – statues of Ninja Kong and Ghastly Kong are available during the run.
- DLC-gated – participation requires the Donkey Kong Bananza: DK Island & Emerald Rush DLC.
