SNK has added a legacy boss to its latest Fatal Fury entry: Mr. Big is now playable in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves as of December 9, 2025. The longtime Art of Fighting antagonist brings his baton-based style, a new counter, and classic rushdown tools adapted for COTW’s systems. Alongside the character, SNK is updating single-player content with new Arcade and EOST (Episodes of South Town) chapters centered on Mr. Big. The studio also confirmed the next content cycle – Season 2 begins in January 2026.

How Mr. Big plays – mid-range control with close-quarters threat

Mr. Big leans on long-reaching normals and baton strings to control space, then flips momentum with a new counter option. He excels at mid-range mind games – feints, counters, and charge-ins – but can also crack tight defense up close. Several specials feature Light/Heavy/Rev versions or Brake options, giving flexible routes into pressure or combos.

  • Pressure and guard breaks: Tools that force blocking and a command throw to punish turtling.
  • Feintable counter: A new parry that can be canceled to bait responses and regain initiative.
  • System synergy: Moves interact with Rev/Brake mechanics for extended strings and enders.

Mr. Big’s arrival explicitly connects the Art of Fighting and Fatal Fury timelines. SNK expands that thread with new storylines in Arcade and EOST modes. In Arcade Mode, Mr. Big pursues a compromising artifact tied to Geese’s legacy, awarded to the winner of the KOF tournament. In EOST, his narrative follows efforts to ease the suffering of Marie – hostage, mother to Rock, and sister to Kain – revealing motives behind the character’s otherwise cold exterior.
