Microsoft is folding Fortnite Crew into Xbox Game Pass Ultimate starting November 18. On the same date, Fortnite launches through Xbox on PC and becomes an Xbox Play Anywhere title. That shift means progress and purchases will carry across Xbox consoles, PC, and supported gaming handhelds. The integration aligns Fortnite’s monthly membership with Ultimate’s ecosystem, bringing Crew benefits into a single subscription.

What changes on November 18

Xbox adds Fortnite Crew to Game Pass Ultimate, plus Xbox on PC
  • Fortnite Crew joins Xbox Game Pass Ultimate – Ultimate subscribers will begin receiving monthly Crew benefits across Fortnite (and in Rocket League).
  • Fortnite arrives via Xbox on PC – The game becomes available through Xbox on PC the same day.
  • Xbox Play Anywhere support – Progress and purchases will follow players across Xbox consoles, PC, and supported handhelds.

What Fortnite Crew includes

Subscribers will receive recurring items and access across Fortnite’s current passes, plus one benefit in Rocket League. The publisher lists the following components:

  • Fortnite Crew Pack – A monthly bundle featuring an exclusive Outfit; the November pack includes the Maxx Speed Outfit.
  • Battle Pass access – Ability to claim premium rewards as you level up.
  • OG Pass access – Premium rewards themed around classic-plus-new items.
  • LEGO Pass access – Premium rewards usable within LEGO Fortnite.
  • Music Pass access – Premium rewards for Fortnite Festival, including musical content.
  • 1,000 V-Bucks each month – Monthly in-game currency to use in the Fortnite Shop.
  • Rocket League: Rocket Pass Premium – Included as a Bonus Benefit. The publisher notes Bonus Benefits are only guaranteed for the then-current edition of Fortnite Crew and may change month to month or be discontinued.

How Ultimate subscribers get access

To start accruing benefits, Ultimate subscribers need to log into Fortnite and Rocket League on an Xbox console, via Xbox on PC, or on a supported gaming handheld. The official support page provides additional eligibility and activation details.

Bottom line – one date, two ecosystem shifts

November 18 aligns two moves: Crew benefits fold into Ultimate, and Fortnite expands to PC via Xbox with Play Anywhere. For players, that means consolidated rewards and seamless cross-progression – jump in on console, continue on PC or handheld, and keep everything in sync.
