Sony Interactive Entertainment and HoYoverse detailed the next PS5 beat for Genshin Impact as Version Luna III approaches. The update introduces the new playable character Durin and advances the story in Nod-Krai. Alongside the update, the companies revealed a limited Genshin Impact DualSense wireless controller with franchise-specific iconography. Pricing and a staggered global release window have been confirmed, with availability varying by region. PS5 features such as haptic feedback, 4K output, and fast loading are highlighted for continued play on console.

Luna III on PS5 – what’s confirmed

The upcoming Version Luna III focuses on two pillars: a new playable character, Durin, and fresh narrative updates set in Nod-Krai. On PS5, players can continue their journey with system-level features – including immersive haptics, support for 4K visuals, and reduced loading times – aimed at enhancing traversal and combat across Teyvat.

Limited DualSense – design in detail

The Genshin Impact Limited Edition DualSense features an ethereal white, gold, and green palette, overlaid with arcane glyphs from the game’s fantasy setting. Emblems of the Traveler Twins Aether and Lumine and their companion Paimon are incorporated into the design. The controller was created in close collaboration between Sony Interactive Entertainment and HoYoverse.
