Arrowhead Game Studios and Guerrilla have confirmed the return of the Helldivers 2 x Killzone crossover, now packaged as a Legendary Warbond. The reissue adds new content and formalizes how past owners will unlock items. The developers indicate the bundle is here to stay rather than rotate out of the store. The Warbond will be available globally on December 18 for 1500 Super Credits.

Eligibility and unlock rules

The return comes with specific conditions for players who interacted with last year’s Killzone items. The studio outlined the following cases:

• Previously bought any Killzone item – you will have the entire Helldivers 2 x Killzone Legendary Warbond unlocked at no extra cost. Items you already own, including those gifted in December 2024, will be medal unlocked.
• Only received the December 2024 gifted items (no purchases) – you need to unlock the Warbond for 1500 Super Credits. After unlocking, the previously gifted items will also be medal unlocked.
• Joined after the Killzone items left the store in December 2024 – you can access the Legendary Warbond by unlocking it for 1500 Super Credits, then redeem medals on its items as usual.

The Warbond combines returning Killzone gear with new additions. Key items highlighted by the developers include the following:

• Weapons:
  • StA-52 Assault rifle – assault rifle with a high-capacity drum magazine for sustained fire.
  • StA-11 SMG – close-range SMG using a helical-feed magazine with higher ammo capacity and front-heavy handling.
  • PLAS-39 Accelerator rifle – precision, burst-fire rifle that fires after a short charge-up.
  • AC-1 Dutiful with the Strength in Our Arms cape – heavy armor featuring a built-in breathing apparatus for hazardous atmospheres.
  • AC-2 Obedient with the Defender of Our Dream cape – light, high-mobility armor favored for long-range play.
  • Acclimated passive – provides 50% resistance to fire, gas, acid, and electrical damage on these armor sets.
  • Extrasolar Ash patterns for Exosuits, FRV, Hellpods, and Pelicans.
  • Returning player cards: Defender of Our Dream and Strength in Our Arms, plus the Assault infantry player title.
