Nintendo has rolled out two free updates for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment on Nintendo Switch 2. The first package landed on Nov. 27, 2025, with a second arriving on Dec. 18, 2025. Together they add tougher enemy variants, additional weapons and materials, and a fresh layer of post‑game challenge. Several features – including a new boss encounter and difficulty option – unlock only after completing the main story. Both updates are available now.

Update #1 – Nov. 27, 2025

Update #2 – Dec. 18, 2025 (post‑game unlocks)

  • New weapon: Forbidden Blade
  • Vicious enemies: Lizalfos, ChuChu
  • New option: Forbidden Difficulty
