What’s New in Ver 1.041

Capcom has outlined the next update for Monster Hunter Wilds – Ver 1.041 goes live on February 18 alongside the game’s first‑anniversary in‑game event. Players who log in February 18 – March 19 will receive a special item pack and one Character and Palico Edit Voucher. The studio also confirmed a weekly cadence of new and returning event quests through March, with most events remaining available beyond the update date.

Seasonal events from past Festivals of Accord will reappear on a weekly cycle during the anniversary window. Each rotation includes associated equipment and login bonuses tied to that festival.

10 Arch-Tempered Content Expands

Starting February 18, Arch‑tempered Arkveld becomes a permanent Event Quest. In addition, the apex predator of each locale – Rey Dau, Uth Duna, Nu Udra, Jin Dahaad – will appear as ★10 Arch‑tempered variants.

Clearing the ★10 Arch‑tempered Arkveld Event Quest and designated special environment quests unlocks a high‑difficulty Free Challenge Quest: the ★10 Arch‑tempered monsters Hunt‑a‑thon. Capcom positions these as endgame‑level trials that will push veteran hunters’ skills.

Community Design Winners Enter the Hunt

The update adds the winning entries from last year’s Original Weapon and Pendant Design Contest. A permanent Event Quest titled Every Hunter’s Dream lets players obtain both the community‑designed weapon and pendant.

To mark the launch of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, Wilds introduces a collaboration featuring the Royal Palico Rudy Costume α and Monstie‑themed pendants. New side missions unlock free quests centered on egg transport; delivering certain high‑potency eggs increases additional rewards.

Weekly Event Quests and Late-March Finale

New event quests will appear weekly after the update. Lineup highlights include quests that award special pendants, focus on the game’s least hunted monster, and those that grant the Gala Suit α and Felyne Star α armor sets.
