Nintendo Music rolls out 2025 Year in Review – limited window

Nintendo has introduced a 2025 Year in Review feature inside the Nintendo Music smart-device app. The section lets listeners look back at their year on the service with personal stats and highlights. The feature is time-limited and will be removed after the stated end date. The company also clarified the exact data window used to compile each recap.
What’s new in the recap
The Year in Review collects your in-app listening activity and surfaces personalized insights. According to Nintendo, the section will summarize what you played the most and how you engaged with playlists throughout the year.
- Most-played songs – a look at tracks you returned to the most
- Top playlists – highlights of your most-listened compilations
- Additional listening stats based on your usage in 2025
Availability and timing
The recap is available until Monday, Jan. 5, 2026 at 4:59 p.m. PST. After this time, the Year in Review section will no longer be accessible within the app.

How the stats are calculated
Nintendo specifies the measurement period for the 2025 recap as January 1, 2025 – November 30, 2025. Only tracks played on Nintendo Music during that interval are included in the calculations.
