Nintendo is bringing My Mario to the United States after its earlier debut in Japan. The kid-focused line – built around Mario and friends – will start in two official stores before widening its reach through the year. A key digital component is the free Hello, Mario! app, which launches the same day. Nintendo is also supporting the rollout with a stop-motion series that is already available to watch.

Nintendo will release the Hello, Mario! app on Feb. 19 as a free download for smart devices via the Apple App Store and Google Play, and for Nintendo Switch via Nintendo eShop (also playable on Nintendo Switch 2). The app is designed to let children, parents and caregivers interact with Mario in simple, playful ways – positioning it as a gentle on-ramp to the Mushroom Kingdom for younger players.
