The ceremony underscored SIE’s ongoing focus on Japan/Asia creators and the breadth of hit PS5 titles across live-service, action RPG, survival horror and character-driven experiences.

Bottom line – why it matters for players

The 2025 lineup shows how player engagement and accessibility now sit alongside sales as key measures of success on PS5. Whether you chase competitive seasons, story-driven action or inventive indies, this year’s winners signal more updates, broader options, and a deeper bench of genres to explore.
