Ride 6 brings real riders and Ride Fest career to PS5 in 2026
Ride 6 is steering its career mode in a new direction on PlayStation 5. In a developer post, Game Director Paolo Bertoni outlined Ride Fest – a chapter-led, festival-style structure replacing the traditional championship ladder. The team’s stated aim is to reflect the core spirit of motorcycling within the game’s progression and events. The update also confirms 10 real-world riders joining as in-game challenges and the addition of a dual-physics model that can be switched per event.
The release timing is locked to February 12, 2026 on PS5, with Early Access from February 9, 2026. A brief overview video is available:

Ride Fest: a festival-style career with chapter progression
Ride Fest reframes career mode as a festival map with horizontal progression across chapters. Instead of a fixed championship path, players expand the map by completing themed areas and tackling events in the order they choose. Themes span bike categories, manufacturers, circuit types, weather conditions and nods to legendary champions.

- Single races
- Endurance challenges
- Championships
- Time attacks
Ride Fest is much more than a career; it’s a motorcycle festival that plunges players into the love of riding, freedom, and the sense of camaraderie that defines the biker spirit.

Real-world legends step onto the grid
For the first time in the series, real riders will appear as in-game opponents and mentors across their specialties. The studio cites a lineup of 10 legends, including Niccolò Canepa, Peter Hickman, Ian Hutchinson, Tyler O’Hara, Guy Martin, Thomas Chareyre, and Skyler Howes. Expect endurance, road racing, Motard, Off-Road and Bagger-focused trials tied to each rider’s expertise.
Progression through these encounters will unlock signature rewards associated with the legends. Before that, players must build a reputation within Ride Fest to access dedicated challenges and face each rider in their domain.

Fame Points, map expansion and boss-style challenges
Fame Points act as the backbone of progression. Earning them expands the festival map, opens up new chapters and adds events – including boss battles against each legend that span multiple challenge types. The system is designed to let players choose their route through the festival while still pushing toward marquee showdowns.
Two physics models – Pro and Arcade – and fresh bike classes
Ride 6 introduces a dual-physics system to accommodate different skill levels and event types. Players can switch between Pro and Arcade handling on an event-by-event basis, while retaining the series’ simulation core. The game also adds two new categories – Maxi Enduro and Bagger – alongside new off-road tracks to broaden the riding palette.
Paddock hub connects the festival
The Ride Fest Paddock serves as the hub where activities converge – a space to meet other riders, tune bikes with a mechanic crew, and adjust your setup. Chapter introductions are framed by dedicated cutscenes, with an in-game DJ reinforcing the festival atmosphere.

Final takeaway – why it matters
Ride Fest’s chapter-first design, the addition of 10 real riders, and a switchable Pro/Arcade physics approach point to a career built for both sim purists and newcomers. For players, it means a flexible path through varied disciplines – with clear milestones, skill-specific challenges, and a festival wrapper that ties it all together on PS5 in early 2026.
