Season 17 goes live with a playable concert and lighter grind

Ubisoft has launched the newest season of Riders Republic across PlayStation, Xbox and PC. The update introduces the game’s first in-world concert featuring French electronic artist Myd, a streamlined seasonal grind, and creator-focused tools for building custom events. The social hub also gets event rotations and more variety in Mass Race XL playlists. Branded motocross styling arrives via a collaboration with Fasthouse.

Myd on The Deck: how the in-game show works

The concert runs December 19- January 1 under the Dome in The Deck social hub. During this window, all players spawn by the stage, and entering the arena grants in-game rewards tied to the event. The set replays daily at 9 AM and 6 PM PST.

Expect three tracks from Myd, including an exclusive Riders Republic remix of “Make Me Feel Alive.” Ubisoft notes Myd’s global track “The Sun” has accumulated over 139 million streams and that the artist is currently touring the United States behind his album “Mydnight.”

“I’ve always loved blending worlds – music, gaming, and creativity,” Myd says, calling Riders Republic a natural fit for the crossover.

A special livestream featuring Myd and guest creators is slated for December 19 at 12 PM PST/9 PM CET on Ubisoft’s official channels.

Season 17 content calendar

Weekly rotations mix Mass Race XL playlists and special modes, with more variety than previous seasons and, for the first time, competitive outfit variants. Ubisoft also flags a Fasthouse collaboration bringing motocross flair to select drops. The schedule below is provided by the publisher and is subject to change:

  • December 24-31: Mass Race XL & Special Christmas

Progression and wardrobe updates

Seasonal progression now requires half the stars compared to prior seasons. To complete the track, players need 700 stars. Finishing the season progression grants the Goose variant of the Snowskate, which unlocks the Snowskate for use.

Dressing your rider also gets faster – once you obtain a themed outfit, you can save it to the “My Outfit” category and equip it instantly.

Lab Events: precision snapping and community spotlights

Creation tools in Lab Events receive object snapping improvements. Builders can snap to all points on an object or lock to a specific point for finer control when placing pieces.

Three community-made events will be spotlighted during the season. They will appear directly in the world on a rotation, with in-game notifications when each goes live to ensure players get time with every feature.

Why this matters for riders

A first-ever playable concert, a lighter 700-star finish line, and smarter build tools give Season 17 a clear focus on spectacle and accessibility. If you’ve been waiting for a reason to drop back into the Republic, the daily showtimes from December 19- January 1 and a packed calendar of events make it easy to jump in and ride.
