Xbox Bowl set for Dec. 18 in Frisco – Missouri State vs Arkansas State
Debut game brings new bowl branding to Texas
The first-ever Xbox Bowl will be played on Thursday, December 18 at 9 p.m. ET at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. The matchup features Missouri State (Conference USA) in its first bowl appearance against Arkansas State (Sun Belt). The broadcast is scheduled on ESPN2. The bowl is owned and operated by ESPN Events and replaces the Bahamas Bowl in the postseason lineup.

How the teams line up
- Missouri State (CUSA): In its inaugural FBS season, the Bears went 7-5 overall and 5-3 in Conference USA, tying for fourth in the 12-team league. They won five straight conference games from early October through mid-November and beat the reigning Sun Belt champion Marshall.
- Arkansas State (Sun Belt): Making a third straight bowl appearance and bowl-eligible for the 13th time as an FBS program.

- Arkansas State QB Jaylen Raynor (Junior): Has 49 career touchdown passes – fourth most in program history. Set the school’s single-season mark for passing completions at 316, surpassing Justice Hansen’s 305 from 2017 after recording 32 completions in the final regular-season game.
- Missouri State QB Jacob Clark (Senior): A Rockwall, Texas product with career totals of over 7,500 passing yards and 60 touchdowns. He leads the Bears as they pursue the program’s first bowl victory.
