Borderlands 4 clears Amon’s community goal – what’s next for players

Borderlands 4 has logged another community milestone. Over the past weekend, players rallied behind Amon the Forgeknight and completed the latest Community Challenge. The target was simple but massive: eliminate Primordial Guardians using Amon’s Forge weapons. According to the official update, the community delivered – and a themed skin reward tied to Amon is now available via SHiFT. Upcoming challenges and a new Vault Hunter teaser outline what’s on the horizon.
What the community achieved
The challenge centered on Amon’s vendetta against Vault monsters, matching the tone of his Character Short “Demons.” Across the event window, players defeated 839,225 Primordial Guardians using the Forgeknight’s weaponry. The objective was community-wide and reflected coordinated participation over the weekend.
Reward tied to Amon
Following completion, a “Cult Classic” Vault Hunter skin usable by Amon was made available through SHiFT. The reward is positioned as a cosmetic celebration of the community’s result and is linked specifically to the Forgeknight’s theme and kit.
What’s next in Borderlands 4
The official post indicates more community beats are planned. Two playable characters are highlighted for upcoming activity, alongside a DLC tease tied to future roster expansion.
- Community Challenges for Vex and Harlowe – events themed around these Vault Hunters are “on the horizon,” with skin rewards planned.
- C4SH teaser – C4SH is introduced as the first of two new Vault Hunters arriving in paid Story Pack DLCs. Release timing will be announced later.
