Wwe 2K26 Ringside Pass Explained: How the New Dlc Seasons Work

2K is restructuring WWE 2K26 post-launch content around an all-new Ringside Pass – a seasonal battle-pass system with free and premium tracks. Season 1 goes live on March 6 with Early Access, bringing post-launch characters into the game from day one. In total, six Ringside Pass seasons are planned across the year, each adding cosmetics, modes-specific items, and playable wrestlers. The approach replaces the prior SuperCharger model and reshapes how Legends and DLC Superstars are unlocked.

How the Ringside Pass Works

Every player gets a free track with 60 rewards across 40 tiers. Progress is earned by collecting RXP – you gain RXP by playing matches in most modes with an online connection; wins grant more RXP, and both repeatable challenges and one-time milestones accelerate progression. As you level up, you claim items such as VC, MyFACTION Packs, MFP, Island banners and more.

Purchasing the premium track adds 60 more rewards – including DLC Superstars, Create-A-Superstar parts, Island taunts and Personas – for a combined 120 rewards across both tracks. Progression is synchronized: if you’re on Tier 5, you unlock the Tier 5 rewards on both the free and premium tracks simultaneously.

Game Modes That Award Rxp

  • Play Now
  • Universe
  • MyRISE
  • Showcase
  • MyGM
  • MyFACTION
  • The Island

Online matchmaking, The Island and MyFACTION award RXP; custom online lobbies do not.

Dlc Characters, Legends and Progression Details

  • Premium track includes new post-launch DLC Superstars. One Superstar unlocks automatically; the rest are available within the first 20 tiers via RXP.
  • Additional playable characters, such as Personas, are generally found in tiers 21-40.
  • WWE Legends that were previously tied to Tokens or the SuperCharger are placed on the free track of Season 1 and can be unlocked with RXP.
  • SuperCharger pack is retired. Optional tier skips are available for premium owners, but all content remains unlockable through regular play.
  • Content access on shared consoles mirrors prior DLC behavior – content is shareable on the same console, while Ringside Pass progression remains profile-specific.

Season Cadence and Carryover

There will be six Ringside Passes throughout the year. When a new season launches, previous seasons do not expire. Players can finish an older season, switch to the new one, then return at any time – minimizing FOMO and letting you progress at your own pace.

Release Roadmap

Season 1 arrives with Early Access on March 6. Subsequent seasons will roll out roughly every 7 weeks. Notably, this is the first time post-launch DLC characters are available at launch for the series.

Ringside Pass release schedule Planned window
Season 1 March 6 (Early Access)
Season 2 April (before WrestleMania 42)
Season 3 June
Season 4 July
Season 5 September
Season 6 October

What's in Season 1'S Premium Track

The Season 1 premium track will include 4 new playable Superstars, plus 2 Personas, 2 arenas and 2 championships. Additional rewards for MyFACTION and The Island will be detailed closer to each season, with item mixes varying by pass to cover new moves and different CAS parts.

Road Ahead

The full DLC roster will be confirmed later and distributed across the six premium tracks. As each season approaches, 2K plans to outline its specific rewards and dates.

Bottom Line – What This Means for Players

No season expires, core progression is tied to playing matches for RXP, and Legends move to the free track in Season 1. If you want structured goals and a predictable cadence, the Ringside Pass turns WWE 2K26’s DLC into a clear, season-based grind – just remember an online connection is required to earn RXP.
